We also have partnered with many organizations to successfully install our e-learning courses on
client-hosted LMS’s.
E-Learning can provide cost savings, convenience, and logistical simplicity unmatched by any
other training process.
At Issue ®: The Road to a Harassment-Free Workplace
The training program takes your managers and employees on an interactive journey down the road
to a harassment free workplace. This is not just a generic program. Your organization's harassment
prevention policy is integrated into the training program. Learners will have to review and
understand your harassment prevention policy in order to answer the question presented.
At Issue: The Road to a Harassment Free Workplace focuses on understanding sexual
harassment as well as other forms of prohibited harassment in the workplace, such as harassment
based on race, gender, national origin, disability, age, religion and veteran status. It is based
on our engaging leader-led training which has been approved by federal agencies under a number of
conciliation agreements.
The Road to a Harassment-Free Workplace is available in employee and manager
versions and low and high bandwidth versions.
Also, versions are available that address state statutory requirements found in Maine,
Connecticut and California.
At Issue ®: Signs of the Road (Harassment-Free Workplace Refresher Course)
Intended for employees that have already taken either our full-length leader-led or web-based
training programs, this approximately 20-minute refresher module is available in manager and
employee versions. Users will need to correctly answer critical questions regarding terms and
concepts relating to harassment prevention, as well as your organization's policies and reporting
procedures. As with our full-length web-based course, your organization's harassment
prevention policy is fully integrated into the training program and users will need to review your
policy in order to complete the course. Our refresher course addresses all forms of harassment, not
just sexual harassment, and reacquaints the user with the critical topic of retaliation as well. In
short, our refresher course will provide the same content as provided in our full-length courses,
but in an abbreviated and efficient format.
At Issue ®: Rules of the Super Highway
The training program is designed to help your organization implement effective polices for
insuring safe, proper, and productive use of all your organization's electronic resources.
At Issue: Rules of the Super Highway clearly defines the parameters of your
organization's cyber policy. In this engaging and interactive program, trainees move through
a hypothetical business day, encountering various examples of potential cyber-liability, including
situations involving obscene or potentially offensive material, confidential information, and
personal use of company resources. Learners must choose the correct response to each scenario
to proceed through the program while receiving immediate feedback on their answers. The program
covers the privacy rights of both employer and employee, and emphasizes the inherent lack of
privacy in all forms of electronic communication.
At Issue ®: Safety and Security
The training program draws on contemporary graphics and Internet technology to deliver engaging,
interactive training directly to the desks of your employees and managers - a convenient,
cost-effective solution to your training needs. Learners are quizzed on key learning points and are
given full explanations for the best safety strategies in certain situations.
At Issue ®: How to Implement Your Affirmative Action Plan
This program focuses on helping organizations analyze their Affirmative Action Program (AAP) data. The course gives your human resources managers and staff the tools to properly review and respond to AAP focus areas, including: underutilization and goals; under representation or concentrations through workforce and JAAR analysis; applicant flow and personnel transactions; and prior year's affirmative action goals.
Employing exciting visual tools and graphics, the At Issue: How to Implement Your AAP course, will provide the necessary foundation to help your staff design and implement good faith efforts to meet affirmative action goals. Practical audit tips also are provided to help guide your staff throughout the AAP year, as well as protect and prepare your organization if selected by the OFCCP for a compliance evaluation.
At Issue ®: Data Gathering for Affirmative Action Programs
Every establishment of every federal contractor and subcontractor must develop Affirmative
Action Programs (AAPs) each year. Organizations without sophisticated centralized human resources
information systems have special challenges in gathering accurate and complete data for AAP
analysis. Accurate AAPs are essential to meet your compliance obligations and to pass OFCCP Audits.
The program focuses on how organizations can efficiently gather workforce data that is accurate
and complete for the preparation of their AAPs, providing your facility human resources managers
and staff the training they need to gather this critical data.
At Issue ®: Navigating the Independent Contractor Relationship
Studies show that independent contractors have become a significant portion of our nation's
workforce because they can provide many important benefits to an organization. However, if
they are not retained and managed appropriately, your organization may be confronted with
significant programs. Organizations that mischaracterize employees as independent contractors have
been subjected to years of litigation and forced to pay millions of dollars in damages,
settlements, back taxes, interest, fines or penalties.
This program is designed for managers and human resource professionals in a position to retain and manage independent contractors. The program takes the learner through an actual company scenario, where two managers must decide whether or not to retain an independent contractor, how to identify one and ultimately how to properly manager the relationship.
